A reading post...

I have come to a conclusion about my reading.  I have a huge stack of little books to read... books that are less than 100 pages.  I have decided to tackle them on weekends.  The longer books I will read through the week.  I tend to read more than one at a time anyway and have never had issues keeping them straight.  I also tend to read slowly on the longer meatier reads.  I read mostly non-fiction with the occasional really good fiction find.  There is a lot of junk out there and I prefer to skip that stuff.  Life is too short to read junk.  ;)

So, with that being said, this weekend I am reading this one...

This was a free find on my Nook (and I am sure on Kindle, too).

I am enjoying it very much.  Hoping to fully finish this 60 paged book by Sunday night.

It might be a little longer because of "crazy weekend" and the fact that I am slower reader.  

I don't prefer crazy... I just sometimes get it because there are, after all, six people in my house.

The older they get the more they are involved in things and I have to be involved in so much of it.

I am fine with that.  It is for a season and someday I will miss all this.

I fight being an isolationist because, well, that is just not healthy.  God does not call us to be isolated from the world... we are to be in the world but just not act like the world.  I cannot be salt if I never go out.  LOL

BUT.... I am ready to be quiet and in solitude on Monday after we finish up lessons for school... it will be lovely... and there will be reading!  ;)
