Graphic and idea taken from the US News and World Report magazine website.This is the quote...
"Collins's ideas come from the corporate research he did for a book in which he studied Fortune 500 companies that had made a leap from average to exceptional. He suggests you ask yourself what you're: a) passionate about; b) good at; and c) able to make a living doing. Then consider how you're spending time. How much of it falls outside those three factors? If the answer is most of it, a not-to-do list could be your most valuable tool. Another strategy Collins suggests is to identify top priorities, rank them, draw a line after 10, and stop doing anything below the line."
This new year.... 2008.... I am NOT going to...
* Stress about stuff
* Watch any television
* Spend too much time on the computer wasting time
* Volunteer my services unless God calls me to it.
* Let people guilt trip me into things
* Waste my time reading books or watching movies that I don't really love
* Pursue friendships that are not going somewhere but deepen the friendships I have already that are important to me.
* Focus on things of the material realm
* Buy more books until I read all of the ones I have first
* Put my kids off for less important things
* Procrastinate when I have assignments due or work that needs to be done
* Hold onto things that are not truly important to me
* Collect more stuff I do not need
* Spend money on things just to spend money on things
* Order any more magazine subscriptions and let the ones I have lapse that I do not read
* Yell so much
* Dwell on things that make me angry
* Neglect my time with God for any amount of urgency
* Fill my days but instead take time to just sit and be still
* Put off taking a walk every day NO MATTER WHAT
* Sleep past 6:00am
* Go to bed late
* Let housework rule my day
* Keep things that require my to have to do a lot of housework
Oh, what a good starting place. If I cut these things out I will have time to do all the things I really want to do and get rid of stress. The TO-DO list is coming next....

Good list!
this is a superb list, and quite ambitious, and one which I am sure you can accomplish with ease :)
